Red is the color of energy, passion, and activeness. This color influences staff to work quickly and effectively. It also creates a creative environment.


Red suits best for the environment where physical work is needed. Hence, taking this as the main color for the interior may cause harm to people, as it can make heart rate, blood pressure, and metabolism faster and increase appetite.

Blue:

Unlike red color, it helps lower heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration. Its tints and shades also produce varying effects on the psychic of staff. Tints induce a calming effect and are helpful for concentration while Shades help in clearing thoughts.


It also shows the feeling of trust and security. Use this color according to the type and need of your company or organization.


Green:

Green color- best known for its peacefulness, calming effect, and poise. Like blue, its tints and shades also help shape employees' minds. Dark green stimulates while lighter green calms. It relaxes the mind and gives a long-lasting freshness.


It is also a color of wealth and creativity. Using the right hues of green in your workplace can surely affect your productivity. You can add indoor plants for greater effect or can go with artificial plants which are now in huge demand.


Creating a greener environment where stressful work is done may save employees from depression and fatigue.


Yellow:

Yellow, the color of Sun also known as the color of happiness, fun, and leisure. It helps in creating a relaxing environment and increases innovation and creativity. It also gives a warm and welcoming effect to the environment.


This color works best for professionals with creative careers, such as writers, artists, and designers. But using this color as the main color of your interior may produce sadness, frustration, and anger.


So be careful while choosing yellow in your palette. It may not be suitable for serious companies or organizations.


Orange:

This color has properties of both Red and Yellow. Like red, orange is the color of energy. It makes employees enthusiastic. It creates interest and is welcoming in nature.


Like yellow, it is the color of happiness but overuse can lead to fatigue and frustration.


Orange will give the best results if used as a supportive color in interior decoration. It also brings harmony to the workplace.


Black:

Black is known as men's color. It shows power, and strength, and is dominating in nature. Black is great as a supportive or decorative color in the interior.


It can be harmful to use Black as the main color of the interior, as it can produce depression and sadness but can be effective if used with greyish colors.


Black gives an elegant, stylish, and fashionable look to your office.


Pastel colors:

Colors like brown, white, and grey are not always good to be used as the main color but a combination of lighter and darker values can be effective.


Pastel colors can be used for a classy environment which can be used as a meeting room or as a studio.
